The Client

Eurolife FFH is one of South-Eastern Europe's leading insurance groups, serving hundreds of thousands of customers in Romania with life and general insurance. Like most insurers, their digital presence had grown one campaign at a time — and buying a policy still meant paperwork, phone calls, or a branch visit. The ambition was bigger: insurance you actually understand, bought in a few clicks.

The Goal

Eurolife already had a digital platform, but it had been built product by product over the years. Every insurance line had its own look, its own flow, its own quirks — customers effectively met a different company at every step. The refresh set out to fix that at the root: one design language, one sales engine, one account experience, across every product and every device. And because this is a regulated insurer, the security, compliance, and audit bar had to be built in from day one — not bolted on later.

What We Did

Embedded in Eurolife's delivery organisation, we built the platform on three pillars. The first is the sales engine: six insurance products — Pet, Travel, Ticket & Event, Life, Home, and Savings for Kids — sold entirely online. A guided wizard takes the customer from quote to payment to an issued policy in minutes. Twenty more products run on the same engine with a human in the loop: the customer starts online, an advisor picks up the journey and closes it.

The small things make it feel effortless. Close the tab mid-purchase and the journey resumes exactly where you left it — even across the payment redirect. Identity checks happen online in minutes with a document and a selfie. Saved cards and instalment payments come standard.

The second pillar is a custom block-based CMS: content teams compose pages from ready-made blocks — heroes, benefits, FAQs, testimonials — and publish them in Romanian, English, and Hungarian, no developer ticket required. The third is the account area, where routine service calls become self-service: customers see their policies, download documents, track payments, file and follow claims, and pick up renewal offers.

Under the hood: a modern React/TypeScript stack with a real-time backend, analytics on every journey, automated tests on the critical flows, and hardened security throughout. Twelve-plus months of continuous delivery — from concept to production, release after release, and still shipping.

The Outcome

The pet product launched as Romania's first fully digital pet medical insurance — a policy that once required a branch visit now takes a few minutes on a phone, with more product lines rolling out on the same engine. Content updates went from developer tickets to same-day publishing in three languages. Service calls turned into self-service. And the engagement keeps going: one platform, growing one product at a time.
